A 1930s modernist villa where the original limewash had to be reproduced from a fragment the size of a stamp.
A single protected fragment survived behind a later radiator. Paint analysis returned a lime and earth-pigment wash with a warm grey cast that no modern reference matched.
We reproduced the wash across nine trial boards, adjusting pigment loading in half-percent steps until the match held under both daylight and tungsten.
The final scheme covers 780 m² of internal wall, applied in three coats over a 21-day carbonation window.
A site visit, a written condition note, and an honest answer about what the room needs.
